Skill education is an educational approach focused on providing students with practical skills and knowledge, enabling them to succeed in personal and professional life. It includes the following aspects:

In line with this, PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Muzaffarpur is actively working in various ways towards skill development to instill self-reliance in students. With internet facilities for technical skills and problem-solving, students learn to use various software in the computer laboratory, including artificial intelligence tools for office tasks, design software, creating interactive digital resources, and knowledge of programming languages.

Students are prepared for technical education after completing the tenth and twelfth grades.

Art-based education and teaching how to create useful items for society are also provided, helping children become self-reliant.
